Paul’s first game was this past Friday. I actually got off early enough at work so I was able to make it. I was very surprised as I never get off that early but for once I did. I was SOO glad I was able to make it. I got there with just a little bit of time left before his game. Paul was worried I wouldn’t make it and was asking daddy where i was till I pulled in. He waved me over to the spot next to where they were parked.
Paul’s teacher’s were both there and cheered him on. Which was really cool. Paul was really excited that he got to actually play this time with his team. We bought him a new batting helmet so that he had one that actually fit him alot better. We had to get an extra extra small to get it where it would not flop down on his head. We also got him some batting gloves as some of the other kids had them and we thought he would like to have his own pair. Which he was really excited about and was showing them off.
Paul did really great in his game. He hit the ball from the pitch and didn’t have to do the tee. It was the first time that he had hit it other then in the back yard here. In all his practices he had had to use the tee. We got video of both and will try to post them once they are uploaded.

Here are the photos from Pauls first game that they actually got to play. He had a good time. Had some issues getting the gloves on but he did well for never wearing them before the game.

Well paul had his first practice with his “team’ he had a great time. He ran the bases while he waited for the other kids to show up. I think hes the youngest on his team if not that he is the only one that hasnt played for a few years now so hes kinda behind the other kids in throwing and hitting and such, but I think it will be a good experience for him to be around other kids and playing a sport together.  I just hope that Im able to go to at least one of his games.
