Well we all went out kayaking saturday. That was an adventure! We even took Kay-ak with us. She did pretty well considering it was her first trip out other then on a pond. She got a bit nervous on the faster water but all in all she did better then I expected. Was a big group that went and was pretty nice. Think we all went swimming at least once lol. Paul wasnt happy about that though. Was a 12 mile paddle and I tell ya I am still sore but not as bad as I was truely expecting. Slept with an ice pack first night or two and wasnt so bad.

Well the time has almost arrived. I cant believe this past year has went so fast but Paul graduates Kindergarden this next Friday. Then he will be in 1st grade already next year! He is growing up so fast. I am dreading homework next year! He’s already doing math and such now can only imagen what he will have next year. Only one and half more weeks of school left and then its out for the summer

Well Paul woke me up nice and early Sunday morning to give me my mothers day card he made me in school. It was very sweet. He was very proud of himself for making it.

We decided to go kayaking with Kay-ak down at the water retention pond and see how she did her first time out in the kayak. She done pretty well for the most part. Her and Joe did end up flipping over in the middle and had to tow them to shore but, not exactly sure what happened to make them flip. Was quite comical to see though. Ended up putting her in the boat with me for a bit she did pretty well as there is more room for her to lay down in mine so think that was a good thing. Paul got to paddle around for a bit as well but mostly we hooked him on the back of our boat and pulled him around. Was alot of fun though.

Seen some really pretty cranes and a beaver damn and just had a nice relaxing day. We all got a bit sumburned though so think next time we need to remember to put some sunblock on as we are all paying for it afterwards. Even joe got sunburned! lol. I somehow bruised my leg without knowing it and boy does it hurt. I will probably be limping for a few days with this.

Well its been a long month, we lost our modem to one of the crazy storms that came through. We bought 3 different ones before found out the problem. We finally got it working after some trial and error. It didnt ever want to stop raining though and the water got up higher then it has since we have lived here. It made it all way up to the road before our house. Even the people down the street had to evacuate due to water being in the houses. It went back down now thankfully but will be bit more before everything is back to normal as there is still sticks and such left everywhere from the water.

Well we went to the truck show yesterday. Got up early and went and got breakfast and was at the fairgrounds around 9ish when it opened up. Paul had a great time looking at all the cool trucks and getting all the free stuff. Somehow I ended u carrying it all… lol. We got his photos with some of the girls and one of the guys that we had last year. Didnt see anyone famous there this year like in the past but we went the last day so probably missed them. Paul got to take photos with our old digi, he had great time taking photos. Said when asked what he was taking photos of he was like “Im taking photos for my telephone papaw!” was to cute. No clue what all they are going to turn out to be though lol.
